are you feeling the love??

So yesterday I finally got the piece of jewelry I've been lusting for the last long while!!

The most classic piece of jewelry every woman should own... the Cartier Love Bracelet in yellow gold!

I'm not wearing it yet partially cuz my mom doesn't want me to wear it fulltime until I am married (which is in like 5 years), but also cuz I don't want to scratch it up! It's so pretty!! She bought it as my wedding gift I guess? I know it's strange I'm getting it 5 years in advance, but she's saving a lot of money in the long run since 2 years ago, this bracelet was only around $2800.

Thanks mom!

my new goodies

I am just loving the Aritzia Spring collection! So many gorgeous pieces I'm just dying to get.

Here's what I bought recently.

I realize that everything I bought is a similar color... but I just love this color.. pale nudish pink, nice tone on everyone!

1.) Talula Boyfriend Blazer $85 (I think it's almost sold out)
2.) T.Babaton Silk Blouse $110
3.) T. Babaton T-shit $45 (love the silk detail in the back)

Pretty sure the $300/year budget on clothes ain't gonna fly!

Anyways, I also want to share with you guys what I've been working on. I used to love scrapbooking and making cards, I've recently just rediscovered my love for crafts. I made a bunch of cards yesterday with every intention to sell on Etsy, but decided it's too annoying dealing with paypal, and mailing stuff out. So now I'll just give them away to family and friends =)

That's all for today. Next post, I will share my story about Tiffany & Co. They are freakin awesome with their customer service, I've fallen for Tiffanys all over again...

around town

Since getting the DSLR for Xmas, I've been taking some pics around town. Enjoy!

As for my ban, it's not going well. I ordered a couple items from Shopbop (but 70% off!) and got something from Aritzia (loving their spring collection). Stayed tuned for updates of my new items!

i really hate myself

I would say that the past few weeks, I have had great self control with my ban. I did not suffer any withdraw symptoms whatsoever.

However, today, as I was browsing on the Revolve website, I noticed that the Michael Kors watch I wanted was back in stock (after many months) and there was a 25% discount code!!! I've ordered this watch last year around the summer time, but then cancelled my order b/c I felt bad about my spending. I have been wanting a casual oversized gold watch for sometime now, and I thought this was a great deal, so I broke my ban for this. I feel terrible about myself, but at the same time, if I wait until March, it may not be there anymore! Plus may not have the same discount anymore either!! So I had to do it... here it is, can't wait til it comes in the mail!

Anyway, I've decided that I am going to create a shopping list for 2011. I'm pretty sure I've spent approximately $4000-5000 on clothing/shoes/accessories alone last year. This year, I've decided I will cut that budget in half, and only buy things that has been on my wishlist since 2010. My shopping budget will be $2200, here are the following things I want/need this year.

1.) Winter jacket, probably Mackage ($550)
2.) David Yurman bracelet ($600), going to Vegas in May, will check out the store there
3.) Marc by Marc Jacobs Hillier Hobo ($400), I need a casual bag I can just throw around
4.) Clothes ($300), this might not be doable... we'll see
5.) Runners ($100)
6.) Scarves ($100)

fine, one more item...

Okay, let me start off by saying this is not a new purchase. Well it is, but not purchased by me. I have always adored lingerie, I worked at a national chain lingerie store for a couple years while I was going through school. As much as I love lingerie, I would never, EVER spend over $50 on a bra, $20 on underwear. This Christmas, the bf actually surprised me with a set from Agent Provocateur (what I had secretly been wanting, although not so secret because I talked about it for a few days, couple months ago). The set he picked out... I did not love, and actually I wanted to take it for a full refund since he paid $400 for the set!!!!!! That is freakin insane, I could do so much with $400!!! So after I had gotten over that initial shock, I went back to the store, already knew which style I wanted, the Fifi bra. Tried on the 3 colors, completely loved it!!! This set is just gorgeous, it is so cute and girly. The bra has subtle hint of purple stripes, with lace on the top, the panties are fun and flirty!! Ahh I'm in love!!! But is it worth the $205 for the bra? I would have to say... possibly, it is absolutely the nicest bra I've ever owned, and in the future if I had extra money to burn I would definitely pick up the other colors!! Since this set is slightly cheaper than the other set the bf picked out, I was able to pick up something small on sale =)

On another note, my shopping ban thus far is going extremely well!! I haven't bought any clothes, or accessories for the past week!! Only 7 more weeks to go haha! Although I did spend $500 dollars yesterday, but it was a necessity, I had to renew my practice license!!

Well that's all for now! I've attached my email contact on the upper right corner of my blog for anyone who has any questions or comments!
